And here is what was in the body:

The $8,000 Tax Credit is coming to an end. It is currently being reviewed for a possible extension and maybe an expansion to included all homebuyers. But as with everything, we should prepare for the worst while hoping for the best. What I mean is, we should prepare as if it will NOT be extended, even though we hope it will be. Any questions? I left a comment question about whether or not this can be used to tile floors too. The video only explains how to use it for backsplash and countertops. Either way though, this seems to be a great product if it works as well and easily as it appears to.

This is a question I get asked a lot, especially by buyers who are either about to write an offer or by buyers who are starting to think about buying sometime in the near future.

In today’s market, I can safely say that most deals are closing within 30-45 days of getting an accepted offer into contract. In fact, I’ve had some recently close within about 20-25 days. However, I’ve also had some take up to 60 days depending on any unforeseen issues.

So, if you were to write a contract today, your Realtor would probably negotiate a closing date into the contract for somewhere around October 23rd, give or take a few days.

This is important to know, especially if you’re a buyer who wants to take advantage of the first-time home buyer tax credit of $8,000 - because you need to be closed before December 1 of this year (unless they decide to extend it). So, to be safe, and give yourself 45 days to close, you need to be writing an offer within the next week or two to take advantage of the tax credit.

There is a new Nintendo Wii game called “Our House: Party” brought to you by Nintendo and The Home Depot. Evidently, in this game, you can design your home, build the house, make home improvements and even decorate. The release date for this game is 9/22.

What do you think?

What’s next? A game where you can pick your Wii Realtor, sign a contract with them, tour homes online, write an offer, and then close on your new Wii house? I’d call it “Wii-LTORS”.
